- Biography of the Mack Families compiled my Marguerite Olds in 1968. This is their only true genealogy book. It covers the descendants of John Mack, who immigrated to the U.S. from Scotland in 1680. One of his descendants was Stephen Mack, who settled Rockton around 1835. He married a Native American woman, Hononegah, hence the common names Macktown and Hononegah in this area. there is extensive information on this couple at the library.
